The StarDance trophy was designed by architect Jan Vlček. The award symbolizes ten interconnected rods shaped like stars, which culminate in a tree crowned with a symbolic disco ball. The ten rods represent the ten dance couples, and the ten hoops symbolize the ten rounds or seasons of the dance competition. The trophy, weighing over 5 kg, was awarded to the winning couple of the 2019 StarDance season. It features a crystal ball with a diameter of 100 mm, hand-cut, polished, and mounted on a bronze base. The bronze base is ground and polished to achieve a desired patina. The final fusion of the raw bronze base and the precisely cut crystal is flawless.
